What I've realized through over a decade of coaching high achievers - and especially coming off the past few years - is that supporting individuals alone isn't always enough.

In order to thrive, employees must also be supported at work, by their employer. This means providing mentorship, training and resources for team members + new and emerging leaders, on topics including self-leadership, executive presence, personal branding, people management, difficult conversations, and more.

This is understandably a lot, which is perhaps why some of the most well-meaning employers (and especially heads of women's groups) tell me they fear they're falling short - and find evidence of that in turnover of high performers and less women in leadership.
